2010 KINGS OF THE RIVER TOURNAMENT SERIES
Kings of the River will be a four tournament series with 100% payback. There will be a tournament in each season of the year. (Winter, Spring, Summer, & Fall) All tournaments will be on the Pascagoula River and will launch from the Little River Marina. The tournament hours will be from safe light to 3:00 P.M. There will also be a points system kept to determine the Kings of the River. First place will receive 100 points + weight and will decrease one point + weight as you go down in places. The overall point leaders after the final tournament will be crowned Kings of the River. Each tournament entry is $75. The number of places paid out will be 15% of the field, and the lunker pot will pay three lunkers at 50%, 30%, & 20%. The breakdown of the entry will be as follows:
Tournament Pot: $50
Lunker Pot: $15
Champions Pot: $10
The champions’ pot will be kept until the last tournament and presented to 1st thru 4th place in the final standings. The Payout to those places will be 50%, 25%, 15%, and 10%. You can only sign up for one tournament at time.
Example of pay out based on 50 boats: $500 will go into champions’ pot
1st – $880.00 1st Lunker - $375
2nd – $550.00 2nd Lunker - $225
3rd – $390.00 3rd Lunker - $150
4th – $240.00
5th - $150.00
6th - $110.00
7th - $100.00
8th - $80.00
Bonuses for 2010:
$500 to the Lunker of the Year
$500 to Stringer of the Year
$500 drawing at the Fall tournament. You will get one entry per tournament fished. If you fish all 4 you will get 6 entries instead of 4.
$500 drawing at the Fall tournament. This will be only for the boats that fish all 4 tournaments. One entry per team.
Door prizes will be given away at each tournament

Winter: February 6, 2010
Spring: April 3, 2010
Summer: August 7, 2010
Fall: October 9, 2010
Rules:
There will be a 5 fish limit 12” minimum in length.
There will be a .25 pound penalty for a dead fish.
There will be a 2.0 pound penalty for weighing in a short fish.
You are allowed one sub for the year.
Life-vest must be worn when boat is on plane.
All boats must meet Coast Guard Specifications.
Only artificial lures allowed.
No culling at the docks.
There will be a 1.0 pound penalty per minute late for weigh-in up to 15 minutes then team is disqualified and will receive half of last place points. You must be with-in 200yds of dock by 3:00P.m.
Any team weighing in more than 5 fish will result in disqualification and will receive half of last place points.
If you zero, you will receive ten points less than last place team that weighs a fish.
Protest must be made with-in 5 minutes of the final weighing, and the tournament director’s decision is final.
